Cabbage Roll (Golubtsy) / Голубцы

Golubtsy, also known as Cabbage Rolls, is a Russian dish consists of cooked cabbage leaves wrapped around variety of fillings. Meat fillings are traditional, seasoned with onion and spices, grains such as rice is included. Cabbage leaves are stuffed with the filing which are then baked, simmered or steamed in a pot.

In Medovik, this scrumptious all-time favourite Russian dish is served in a set of 3 pieces. It comes along with sour cream that fits perfectly with the cabbage rolls. The sauce consists of tomatoes and little bit of chilli which gives out a sour and slight spiciness to it. Inside the rolls are chicken meat and rice grains.
